Letter

Dear Marlen,

Your class is the only class I never intentionally missed.  During the summer when I received your first email, I debated dropping your class for many, many, many, many hours.  Now that I’m half way through this semester, I decided that dropping this class would have been completely brainless!  I feel like this class has a crap load of work, but it’s really not that bad.  I feel as long as I don’t fall too far behind, this class is a piece of cake.  I enjoy doing most of the assignments, aside from a select few, but taking this class was defiantly one of the better decisions I’ve made lately.

My goal in this class is to better understand myself.  It’ scares me that I have no idea what I want to do or even who I really am.  I have a really hard time talking and relating to people.  In your class I feel like maybe I could begin to understand personalities more and start being able to connect and communicate with unknown peers.

Of course I’ve also learned lots of “course material”, but I think it’s way more beneficial to walk away having a better understanding of life and how you’re going to live it, rather than just memorizing definitions.  I feel like anyone and everyone can find something in this class to inspire them.  Man, were those kids that dropped your class fools!
